What if I said that the only thing holding you back from achieving your entrepreneurial and personal goals is a wrongly held belief that something as progressive and necessary as a personal assistant is a luxury? You might snigger, but read through the next couple of paragraphs and hear what I have to say.
To reach the next level of results, business owners often need to hire more team members, including someone to support them personally. There is often reluctance to take this step because hiring somebody to assist you personally seems like a route taken by the wealthy, or the famous. I mean, who do you think you are?
You’re most likely a person stretched beyond your means in work and home life – your progression in either direction is restrained. Not only are you held back from moving forward, but you are at risk of spiralling into a state of regression.
Recognizing that personal support is an investment in yourself and in your business is one of the first keys to assuring you can get what you need and want from your life.
You wouldn’t think twice about hiring supporting staff for the different departments of your company: operations, accounting, sales, etc. But while those needs are being taken care of, who is minding your reservoir of creativity, ingenuity, and talent? Who is there to help make sure that while you are managing the different departments of your life - family, work, social - you don’t end up running on empty?
Hiring someone with the ability to manage the tasks that drain you of time and energy can be beneficial in terms of increased creativity, growth, and vision. If you have ever wondered why the wealthy and famous are able to maintain a constant state of success, you only need to consider the level of support that keeps their skills and talents running in full motion.
Investing in your abilities will help perpetuate success. You will see the rewards through your company’s growth, through the opportunities you create for people, and through the value that is created in your personal world. But in order to perpetuate success, you need to reconsider the notion that personal assistance is a luxury. It is a necessary investment in yourself.

Is convenience the answer?
In the face-paced world we live in, it’s no wonder we all struggle to find time to participate in the small things that add meaning to our lives. We are constantly stretching ourselves too thin while attempting to achieve multiple goals and deadlines. And instead of reaping the rewards from our achievements, we ultimately end up trying to nurse our stress-induced illnesses, or visiting therapists to help us understand why we seem unable to achieve our ultimate goal of happiness.
The interesting thing about our fast-paced world is that there are countless conveniences set up to help save us time so that we can spend with family or spend more time climbing the corporate ladder. There are conveniences like food delivery, online shopping and speed dating; services that help us with our laundry, housecleaning, and care giving. There are conveniences so plentiful that a 16th century pauper might consider this lifestyle almost opulent. And yet, despite the conveniences offered, we struggle with the notion that our life is lacking because time is such a difficult thing for us to find.
Our suggestion at TimeBridge is that modern-day conveniences aren’t sufficient because we are still trying to manage everything single-handedly. Teamwork, it is said, divides the task, but multiplies the successes. That is a philosophy that we adhere to in our personal life and in our work life. When we have more than one hand on any job, our chances of success and progression invariably increase.
That is why our focus is supplying you with an extra hand. Someone who makes it their goal to help you achieve yours. We want to help you find time to add meaning and enthusiasm in what you do on a daily basis.

I read a story not too long ago listing the Top 10 most popular New Year’s Resolutions.
10: "I will work less and enjoy life more"
Yes, we all say that after a week off work and on an alcohol-enriched diet. Nothing kills that buzz, or that resolution, quite like 917 "urgent" emails that await your return.
9: "I will see more of my family"
Of course you will. You'll see them working as hard as you are because, let's face it, today's world is a very busy place for everyone. So much for that.
8. “I will make time for fitness”
There’s a reason January is the busiest month in the gym business. Just long enough to get back into the swing of things.
7. “I will eat better”
Not only are you still eating take-out at your desk because who’s got time to make lunch the night before, but you’re spilling sauce on our keyboard as you catch up on email. Next.
6. “I will quit smoking”
Yes, nothing like adding nicotine fits to the stress-free life of balancing a demanding job, a social life, a family and a home.
5. “I will go take the trip I’ve been dreaming of”
And with all the time you research it, planning it, and booking it, you’ll need a vacation twice as much.
4. “I will learn something new”
Ya, there’s plenty of time to learn new things. Maybe you can take that course down at the university? Hopefully, the classes are no longer than 10 minutes, ‘cause that’s all you’ve got.
3. “I will get organized”
It took you over 30 years to make the mess. If you think you’ve got the time to unclutter it this year, all the more power to you.
2. “I won’t stress the small stuff”
Yes you will. Because the small stuff are the ones that you can achieve results for, and everybody needs results - especially the people who pay you. They love small stuff.
1. “I will make the best out of my life”
If only you had the time to devote to that.
I bring these up (and comment on them) because with a TimeBridge personal assistant, all these resolutions are so much more attainable. Take more time for yourself and you’ll live better.
